Gulalung (Finger Lime)

Found throughout the beautiful Bundjalung country of the Northern Rivers of Northern NSW/South coast of QLD the Gulalung (Bundjalung dialect) which is grows on the 'gulalamgay' tree is harvested and eaten between November-June period.
These traditional super foods contain three times the amount of Vitamin C that is found in a mandarin and also high in Vitamin E - two vitamins that promote cell protection and  aid the immune system in the prevention of many diseases and illnesses.
They are; boiled up added to drinks, meals and also just eaten raw. They also come in different colours - these ones are not ripe yet but will ripen to be a dark black/brown. 
The physical nature and taste of these fruits have caught attention of well known restaurants of the world.
